Description: To raise awareness among young people in Moycullen of the importance of first aid and CPR, and to build confidence in responding to emergencies.
In partnership with the local Foróige group, Galway Area Irish Red Cross volunteers will deliver a hands-on First Aid and CPR demonstration, giving young people the opportunity to learn practical, potentially lifesaving skills in a supportive and engaging environment.
We hope to equip participants with knowledge they can share with their families, friends and wider community, helping to strengthen community preparedness and resilience when every minute matters.
The session will also provide an opportunity for young people to learn more about the Irish Red Cross, our volunteer-led humanitarian work, and the ways they can get involved in supporting their community in the future.
